Location Location:  Hardy Island is located on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia at the mouth of Jervis Inlet, 60 miles by air from Vancouver.  It is ideally positioned between Vancouver and the popular cruising areas of Desolation Sound and Princess Louisa Inlet.  It provides excellent anchorage spots to explore the surrounding waters and is the perfect location for a summer home or year-round residence. Directions:  Hardy Island is accessible by air or water.  It can be reached by boat from Vancouver or boats can be trailered on B.C. Ferries via the Sunshine Coast where there are numerous launching sites.  Water taxis are available from Egmont, Pender Harbour and Saltery Bay.  Scheduled floatplane service is available from Vancouver, Sechelt or Nanaimo.
